Huawei Unveils Three New Android Devices


Bangalore: Huawei launched its cloud services in India with the launch of its MediaPad tablet and two other smartphones, all three devices are with Android operating system. MediaPad is a 7 inch tablet with Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system powered by a 1.2 Ghz dual core Qualcomm processor. The tablet measures just 10.5 millimeters and weighs 390 grams. It has a WXGA display with 1280x800 pixels of resolution, made of an IPS (In-plane switching) screen which is said to be better than TFT screen. The tablet has a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera and 5 megapixel auto-focus rare camera with the capacity to record HD videos. It has a 4100 mAh battery as well that is expected to provide a decent performance. It also has HDMI output, HSPA, WiFi, GPS, and AGPS. Huawei's MediaPad is priced at Rs 28,359. Along with the MediaPad tablet Huawei also launched two new android smartphone, Huawei Sonic and Huawei Ideos X3. These two smartphone are priced at 9,210 and 10,229 respectively.
