HTC's First Dual-SIM Smartphone Now in India


Bangalore: The mobile Indian market is ever expanding and a lucrative one. Mobile phones always find their way into the Indian market within less than a month of their worldwide release. Same is the case with HTC Desire V dual-SIM Smartphone. Few weeks back HTC announced its first dual-SIM smarphone – Desire V in the worldwide market and now it is available on certain online retail websites for 21,999 (spotted in Flipkart).

HTC Desire V is the company’s first dual-SIM, Android 4.0 phone available in the Indian Market right now. The company says that they will officially launch the mobile in the market within a month.

The smartphone runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with HTC Sense 4 user interface and is powered with 1GHz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 512 MB of RAM. It sports a 4-inch display screen with a resolution of 480x800 pixels, 5 MP autofocus camera with LED flash, 4Gb internal memory, expandable memory using microSD cards and the phone also comes with 25 GB of free Dropbox cloud storage for the periods of 2 years.

This smartphone also supports Beats Audio and provides the option of using 3G, but only one SIM will support 3G network and other offers 2G network. For connectivity it comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB, GPS, AGPS and 3.5mm audio jack.
