HTC to Launch Its Flagship M7 Android Phone: Rumor

Bangalore: The year 2013 is to have a rocking start for the tech arena as far as rumours go. The year is slated to see some big launches from Samsung S IV to Apple 5S (it’s rumored to go by this name) and not lagging far behind HTC is to launch its flagship M7 android phone early next year. 

The recent report from Focus Taiwan, the national news agency of Taiwan, pointed out that HTC is currently notched up in its efforts to bring out its next flagship Smartphone, supposedly with “M7” name tag, early next year.

At this juncture there’s little information about the possible specifications the new device is to sport. If HTC’s recent launch of its pair of devices with 1080p displays in Japan and U.S. and little revelations from an insider at HTC is considered, M7 will sport a 5-inch display running at 1080p, an aluminum unibody chassis, a 13-megapixel camera, and the most important inclusion, a Qualcomm APQ8064 quad-core processor.

Considering HTC’s track records, the M7 may debut with a roar at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona which is slated to happen in March 2013.
