Bangalore: The last offering from HTC, HTC One X was a roaring success. Though its battery life was a bit of a letdown, the mobile phone was one of the best and most powerful Android handset in the market. According to the information leak on GLBenchmark there are rumors that HTC is possibly working on a successor to its One X.
Nothing has been confirmed. The rumors of the development of a successor to One X were neither confirmed nor denied. From the little information we have, the successor seems to be a lot like its predecessor HTC One X. As of now we only know its name and a few specifications.
The new phone is named HTC PM63100. The screen will have a resolution of 1280 X 720 pixels and with support HD format. Thought the resolution is known the size of the screen is still not clear. The phone will be powered with a 1.7 GHZ CPU.
Like its predecessor which was code named Evita, the new phone has been code named ‘Evitareul’. With the update in the Android operating system, it is most likely that the new phone will run on Android Jelly Bean.
If the rumors that the new phone being a successor of HTC One X is true, then we know that it will only be an improvement over it. The camera and the body of One X are few of its USPs. HTC One X is the only phone which can capture images of high quality in quick succession
So the new phone from HTC, Evitareul will definitely be a gadget to look out for.
