HTC Unveils One M9e: The Budget Variant of One M9




BANGALORE: The Taiwanese Smartphone maker, HTC unveiled a new variant of this year’s flagship Smartphone, One M9. The new phone is dubbed as the One M9e and it is listed on a Chinese e-commerce website at CNY 2,700 (Approximately 27,650), reports NDTV.

The Chinese Tmall online retailer has listed the One M9e to be One M9 most of the times in their website. The One M9e features the similar body like the One M9, which was launched in March this year. There is no official word on the launch of this device out of China yet.

The novel One M9e sports a 5-inch Full-HD IPS display and it is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6795T Helio X10 processor, which is featured in the companies One M9+. But the octa-core processor is coupled with just 2GB RAM instead 3GB RAM that is seen in One M9+. The Smartphone comes with a 16GB internal storage and it can expand up to 200GB through microSD card slot.

Coming to camera, the new One M9e features a 13MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, BSI sensor, OIS (optical image stabilisation) and LED flash. The primary camera doesn’t come with secondary camera like the One M9+ but the front-facing camera features UltraPixel sensor.

The HTC One M9e houses an identical 2840mAh non-removable battery that is seen in One M9. Overall, the phone looks impressive with metal body and similar features of the flagship Smartphone at a mid-range price.
