HP Announced New Range of Windows 8 All-In-One PCs


Bangalore: HP announced its four upcoming Windows 8 all-in-one desktops; HP Spectre One, HP Envy 23, HP Envy 20 TouchSmart and the HP Pavilion 20. These devices come with multi-touch screen (except HP Spectre One) and have NFC technology as well.

The top model in all three is the Spectre One, which sports a 23 inch display (not touchscreen), comes with wireless keyboard and a wireless trackpad that supports Windows 8 gestures. Other features include the latest Intel Ivy Bridge processor, 6 BG of RAM, 750GB or 1TB of storage space, HP TrueVision web camera, NFC and Beats Audio.  

The other two Envy products HP Envy 23 and Envy 20 TouchSmart, offers 23 inch and 20 inch high definition touchscreen display respectively. Both are powered with third generation Intel processor and storage up to 3TB and an option for SSD.

Lastly, the HP Pavilion 20 is a budget friendly all-in-one PC. It comes with 20 inch high definition non touch display, has choices for processor between Intel or AMD and up to 2 TB of storage.

Further specifications are not available as the products are not launched in India. The HP Spectre One is expected to hit the U.S. market in November, 2012 at a price of $1,299 (71,938). The HP Envy 23 and Envy 20 TouchSmart will hit U.S. sometime around this October with a price of $999 (55,324) and $799 (44,248) respectively. And finally the HP Pavilion 20 with a price tag of $449 (24,865) will also available in the U.S. in October.
