Google's Moto X Is Out, Amuses With Specs And Customization


The phone will be made available in U.S., Canada and Latin America this month or from beginning of September. The device will cost $199.99 to customers who sign a two-year contract at five of the biggest U.S. mobile network operators. And the customized device will be delivered in 3 to 4 days according to Google.

The device will have a 4.7 inch 16M-color 720p capacitive touchscreen, with RGB AMOLED display protected by Gorilla Glass. Under the hood it packs a dual-core 1.7 GHz processor, a custom-built Motorola X8 Mobile Computing System, based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset. The processor will be coupled with 2GB RAM and Adreno 320 GPU. And contrary to the rumors that the Moto X may come with 4.3 Android, it comes with the previous version of Jelly Bean, 4.2.2.
