Fujitsu shows world's first glasses free 3D PC

Tokyo: Fujitsu, the Japanese computer hardware and IT services company, has showcased the world's first desktop computer that displays 3D images without the need of glasses. Included in the 2011 FMV line-up launch of Fujitsu, the Esprimo FH99/CM desktop PC is scheduled to launch in Japan on February 25 and later spreading to other markets. The PC comes with a 23 inch FullHD monitor and is powered by Intel's Sandy Bridge processor (i7-2630QM). With an Intel motherboard, the PC has a 2TB of hard disk space and 4GB of DDR3 RAM. It also has Gigabit ethernet, USB 3.0 and 3D Blu-ray support with a Blu-ray drive. With the Esprimo FH99/CM desktop PC, users can also watch television, record the programs and edit the images. Toshiro Ohbitsu, Engineer, Fujitsu said about the PC, "Without having to wear glasses, you can enjoy watching 3D images with others. You can share the excitement with family." The company already has brought out 3D PCs with glasses earlier. However, people have shown resistance toward anything 3D that required wearing glasses.
