Digital Locks, Tennis Sensors Unveiled At CES 2014


Now, with your house secure, watch out the ace served by Sony at the CES Show. The Sony Tennis Sensor a clever and tiny red sensor attaches to the butt of the racquet while concealing itself from the limelight. By sensing the vibrations, the device spins out metrics on ball spin, swing speed, type of swing and etc to the smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth. The data helps amateur players to track and analyze their games for further improvisation.

"Our new products are designed to be there with consumers, enhancing the pleasure of activities they already love. They represent the essence of what drives Sony forward, combining technology and emotion to inspire the type of excitement that only Sony can evoke" said Mike Fasulo, president and COO of Sony Electronics. But one has to wait a while to play the ace as Sony has not pinpointed on its launch date.
