Canvas Play With 5.5-inch Screen Is Next In Line For Micromax

BANGALORE: Last week, Micromax launched the exciting Canvas Spark and it was received well by many. This week began with Micromax flashing the new device called Canvas Play in their website. But  Micromax has not revealed the release details for it, reports IndianExpress.

However, ebay.in listed the Phablet for 7,490 and it is still unclear regarding the availability of the device on other platforms like Flipkart, Amazon and traditional mobile stores or whether ebay.in can be the official retailer.

The only thing which is clear is the specs of the new device. The Phablet will sport 5.5-inch screen with FWVGA resolution (480 X 854 pixels). It will be powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek’s MT6582M processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.

The phone will support microSD card up to 32GB and it will contain an internal memory of 8GB. As far as the connectivity is concerned, it is 3G enabled with micro and normal SIM card slots. There are 5MP and 0.3MP of rear and front-facing cameras respectively.

Like all other Micromax devices, even the new Canvas Play sports motion sensor, proximity sensor and light sensors. According to the Micromax website, the new Phablet with 2820mAh capacity of battery will easily last for 10 hours with single charge on constant usage.
