Branes and Noble Launches New Nook Tablet


Bangalore: The Nook Tablet is the latest version of Barnes & Noble's popular Nook e-Reader and is an Android tablet with built-in apps for streaming music, streaming video and of course reading books. The Nook Tablet is for everyone. It is solid, easy to use, and most of Android's rough edges have been burned off. Although there are some odd UI choices and frustrations, everything is in its right place. It is, in short, a perfectly slimmed down Android tablet masquerading as an e-reader something many will prefer over Kindle Fire's obviously service-oriented approach. It features a 7 inch touchscreen IPS display with 1024x600 pixels of resolution, powered by 1 GHz TI OMAP4 dual core processor, 1 GB of RAM runs on Android Gingerbread OS. It also has 16 GB of internal storage capacity, external storage via MicroSD card slot and free cloud storage for books and magazines. The tablet offers a Wi-Fi, USB and Bluetooth connectivity options. This tablet also completes the requirement of business purpose like office tools, eBook and PDF reader. The other feature includes support the adobe flash player and preloaded nook applications. Its price is $250.
