Bose unveils latest noise cancellation headphones: QuietComfort 15
Bangalore: Bose has launched its latest noise cancellation headphone. After the launch of QuietComfort (QC) 2 and QC 3 it was expected that the new product will be named as QC 4 but to everyone's surprise it is named as QC 15. QC 15 uses noise reduction technology that diminishes external noise to a great extent as compared to its predecessors. QC 15 headphones have the company's enhanced ear cushion technology to eliminate unwanted noise. The headphones are equipped with signal processing and audio reproduction technology that gives high sound quality as well as deep low notes. QC 15 requires one AAA battery, which Bose claims will last for 35 hours. But the duration might depend on the type of usage as well as the battery used. QC 15 has microphones on both the sides of earcup to sense and reduce outside noise. With the help of this technology users can use this headphone even when not listening to music to just cut down external noise and relax. The TriPort acoustic headphone structure features tiny vents on these headphones which provide tonally balanced audio performance. The headphone can be rotated 90 degrees which helps in carrying it around. The QC 15 package includes one AAA battery, carrying case, a detachable audio cable and an airline adapter. Bose offers these latest headphones at a price of 14,571 ($299).
