BlackBerry's Z10 Smartphone Launched In India For 43490

Bangalore: Research In Motion, who recently rebranded themselves as BlackBerry has launched their first device from the new genre BB10 OS, Z10 in India today. The Smartphone will go on sale from tomorrow at 43490.

The device, which is cited as the Canadian manufacturer’s last hope, had received mixed response after its global launch in January 30. It is overwhelming for the BlackBerry fans in India as the touch-screen phone had reached country even before U.S. Currently the device is available only in United Kingdom and Canada.

However, it is yet to see that the brand which was once the favorite of business community, with its advanced email and messaging features, will be able to gain its old status in a highly populated market like India, with this price tag.

Meanwhile, there is no information on the launch of second device on the BlackBerry 10 platform, Q10, which carries BlackBerry’s trademark- the QWERTY keypad.

The Z10 will compete with Apple’s iPhone and also with Android flagships like HTC Butterfly and Samsung Galaxy s3.
