BlackBerry Q10 With QWERTY keypad Launched At 44,990


Bangalore: Blackberry's latest Smartphone Q10, has officially rolled out in India. The device will be available in 20 cities, 1000 retail outlets from tomorrow. The phone comes with touch and type functionality with BB’s traditional QWERTY keypad. BlackBerry Q10 has already appeared in some of the online portals for 44,999.

The all new Q10 will feature a 3.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen and a QWERTY keyboard. It boasts a 1.5GHz Cortex-A9 dual-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM, and runs on BlackBerry 10 OS. It hosts 16GB internal storage that is expandable up to 64GB via a micro-SD slot. It flashes an 8MP rear camera which is capable of taking videos of 1080p and a 2MP front camera capable of recording videos of 720p.
Its connectivity features includes, 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 NFC and microUSB 2.0. The device is powered by a 2,100mAh battery and is available in the country in white and black colors.

The device also includes other attractive features such as multi-language support, picture editor and the ability to flick words while typing. The phone is equipped with a feature that allows users to switch BBM chat into a BBM video conversation.
Q10 is the company’s second Smartphone to run on BlackBerry 10 operating system. The first was BlackBerry Z10 which was launched earlier this year with a price tag of 43,490.
