The Best: Dell XPS 14z come in a very compact and stunning design with its aluminum and magnesium construction. It has a superb backlit keyboard and touchpad and the device is light weight, weighs only 2kg. Clocked with the power of Intel’s Core i7 processor and Nvidia switchable graphics this laptop puts many of its competitors for shame. It also has some interesting features like Intel's Wireless Display functionality that transmits images to an HDTV without using any cables.

The Bad: It is expensive. There are only two USB ports and the battery life must have been a bit more. If there have been few more pixels on that 14-inch screen, it might have been better.
