Apple's 3D Touch Soon To Come In Xiaomi

BENGALURU: Xiaomi has amazed its customers with its low budget top-end range of Smartphone’s that outbeats even some of the costlier Smartphone’s in performance sector.  Recently, Xiaomi has announced 3D Touch-like pressure sensitive technology to its upcoming Smartphone displays that will hit the markets very soon, according to demanjo.com.

We all know that Xiaomi’s passion to imitate Apple’s features that makes its looks good on its own MIUI 6. In fact the MIUI OS looks just like the iOS, for instance the new MIUI 6 is almost similar to Apple’s iOS 7. According to GforGames, reports reveal that Xiaomi has patented a technology that is almost similar to 3D Touch. Apple introduced the all new 3D Touch which is a pressure-sensitive display.

The 3D Touch helps recognize not just taps and presses but also deep press. 3D Touch comes with three different types of input support. However, one cannot determine if the technology will make its way to the upcoming Mi5 flagship. Xiaomi might also partner Synaptics to include its ClearForce technology on the Mi5. It must be noted that the Mi4c makes use of the Synaptics ClearPad S3708 touch controller, which supports both ClearForce and SideTouch technologies.

However, only SideTouch has been enabled on the device so far. The Korean electronics giant is one of the partners for Synaptics’ ClearForce, among other OEMs and LCMs. Synaptics has mentioned that the technology is currently available only for smartphones, with support for wearables and tablets – ‘coming soon’. Samsung patented its own pressure sensitive display technology last year. Similar to Xiaomi, it is unclear whether Samsung will opt for ClearForce or go with its own in-house technology.
