Apple iPhone 5 Hits India at 45,500


Bangalore: The highly anticipated Apple’s latest flagship smartphone iPhone 5 has finally makes its entry in the Indian market after being launched first on 21st September in selected global market.

The 16GB version of iPhone 5 is priced at 45,00, the 32GB version at 52,500 and the 64GB model is available for 59,500 in India. The device will be available in both GSM and CDMA.

A week ago Indian network providers Airtel and Aircel have offered the iPhone 5 for pre-order and reportedly the pre-booking is full. Along with these network providers, many online retailers lie Snapdeal, Infibeam, Sacholic etc were also offered pre-order for the device even before Apple has given any official statement of the launch.

The iPhone 5 will be available on 2nd November only for those who have already pre-ordered the device due to short supply while others who have not pre-booked the device have to wait few more weeks to buy.

However, the grey markets have been flooded with the iPhone 5 which have been priced at astronomical prices.
