Bangalore: Nokia PureView is widely accepted as the camera phone in the market today. With the launch of 808, Nokia’s determination to regain the mobile market seems quite promising. The 808 was first showcased in Mobile World Congress 2012 (MWC) which was held at Barcelona in February.

The Nokia 808 with its outrageous 41 megapixels sensor camera was the biggest announcement in MWC 2012. The mobile also grabbed some awards within few days of its launch including Best Mobile Device at MWC 2012 and Best Imaging Innovation for 2012.

Camera

The 808 has high density 41 megapixels sensor camera with Carl Zeiss lens, Xenon flash and a new oversampling technology. This sensor enables to select from various megapixels options while taking pictures like 5 MP, 8 MP and up to 32 MP. It means the image will be with more pixels to work after zooming and cropping the image.

The PureView lens and sensor specifications; Carl Zeiss optics, 8.02mm focal length, 35mm equivalent focal length: 26mm for16:9 angle and 28mm for 4:3 angle.
