After One Plus 2, Galaxy A8 Tipped to Feature Finger-print Scanner




BANGALORE: Earlier this week, the pictures of the upcoming Samsung device took over the internet before its rumoured launch schedule. The twitter spy OnLeaks gave away the design with snapshots of Galaxy A8 that was reportedly believed to sport full metal body, reports IBT.

The speculations suggested that the new Samsung Galaxy A8 will debut on 17 July in China. The leaked pictures of Galaxy A8 reveal all the six angles - front, back and all its four edges (top, left, right and bottom).

According to the leaked pictures, the novel device comes with metal chassis like the previous A series Smartphones. Along with that, this generation A series phone is much slimmer and has curvaceous corners that slightly resembles the flagship handset, Galaxy S6.

The Galaxy A8 features square shaped camera module with LED Flash to the right and speaker grill to the left. On the front, it looks identical to its predecessor, Galaxy A7, when it comes to the placement of camera and sensors.

Despite of OnLeaks lead on new Samsung Galaxy A8, we can expect basic feature in the device. A 5.5-inch full HD display, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 Octa-core SoC paired with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and 16MP rear shooter and a 5MP front-facing camera.

There are several reports that points at the new improved finger-print scanner on the home button identical to the flagship phone from the company. All these may come with a price tag around 31,100.
