Acer's Budget Tablet Iconia To Reach India Soon

Bangalore: Acer has just announced its Iconia B1- A71 tablet at the Consumers Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Iconia which boasts of a 7 inch display with a 1024x600 pixel resolution is all set to reach India in January, reports IBN.

With this low budget tablet, Acer plans to take a step further giving Kindle Fire and Nexus 7 a run for their money. The tablet has 7 inch display and comes with a front facing camera of 0.3-megapixel for video calls.  The WSVGA screen with multitouch capacity has a resolution of 1,024 x 600. The device has a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, with 512 MB RAM. It also has an 8GB internal memory that is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. The tablet runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.1 and supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.

Focusing on the budget based watchers, the tablet seems to be priced with a starting amount $150. But according to the reports, the price will vary even to $99 in some countries.
