Acer to Launch Cheaper Chromebook in India

Bangalore: The Taiwanese electronics giant; Acer has recently launched their C7 Chromebook laptops and is priced at $ 199.  The laptop comes with an 11.6 inch display with a resolution of 1366 X 768 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.1 GHz Intel Celeron 847 processor backed by 2 GB of RAM.

The C7 Chromebook functions on Google Chrome operating system.  This laptop is the 6^th laptop that has been released in the market with Google Chrome operating system.  The laptop comes equipped with 320 GB hard disk along with an additional 100 GB of Google Drive Cloud storage. This additional space is free for the first two years.

The Acer C7 is cheaper than the new Samsung Chromebook which was released three weeks back with a price tag of $249. The C7 Chromebook is yet to released in India but according to reports that gadget will be available in India soon with an affordable price tag of 18,000 approximately.
