At the IFA 2012, Berlin, Germany, HP launched their version of the hybrid; Envy X2. The device comes with a detachable keyboard. Once you remove the keyboard it becomes a tablet. It has an 11.6 inch IPS touch screen which comes with a resolution of 1366 X 768 pixels.

Unlike the Toshiba Satellite U925t, Envy X2 weighs only 1.4 kg which is a lot lesser than the other one. The Envy X2 will also operate on Windows 8 operating system. It has an 8 mega pixel rear HD web camera along with Near Field Communication (NFC) connectivity.

Envy X2 comes in two memory variants 32 GB and 64 GB. HP promises its users that the tablet would come with 10 hours of battery life. It comes with Beats Audio which makes listening to music and watching movies on this hybrid enjoyable. The device is expected to hit the markets mid December 2012.
