#1.Use screen lock

Using a screen lock is the basic safety measure to protect the device by using a personalized shape or pattern that is drawn on the screen and other safety measure is a password. To control whether the lock-screen is enabled or disabled, open Android’s Settings screen and tap the Security option under Personal. Following the activation of the lock, the device can be set to lock automatically after a specific time period or by pressing the Power key. It is the most convenient access to information and apps on your device.

#2.Activate Google’s Android Device Manager

If you lose your device, Android Device Manager can help you to track your device on Google Maps. It allows you to ring the device loudly for five minutes and even erase the entire data. To verify whether it’s enabled, you can go to the Setting Menu and tap on Security. You can also enable it through the Device Administrators setting under Security Settings.
