The Google Nexus 7 is the first tablet to run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It sports 7 inch IPS touch screen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The tablet has a 1.2 mega pixel front facing camera which can record 720p HD videos, used for video calling and comes in two storage capacities, 8GB and 16GB.

Nexus 7 is powered with Quad-Core Tegra 3 processor at a clock speed of 1.3 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and other features includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC (Android Beam) GPS for connective options. It is loaded with a powerful 4325 mAh battery which can give 9 hours of HD video playback, 10 hours of web browsing, 10 hours of e-reading and 300 hours of standby.

The official price of the Google Nexus 7 is $199 which roughly translates to 11,000 and the Indian retail shops have listed it for around 17,000.
