Sony introduced its new flagships the Xperia X and XA. While the Xperia X is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor, 3GB RAM, and 32 GB storage, the XA is run by a Snapdragon 820 processor for improved performance. Both the phones come with a new metal design and feature a 5-inch display. With a Mediatek processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 2,300mAh battery, 13MP primary camera and 8MP front camera, the device is IP68-certified for dust and water resistance.

Powered by Microsoft windows 10 phablet Operating System, HP announced the launch of its new model, the Elite X3. Equipped with a Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, the device uses Continuum to convert to a Windows 10 desktop computer and a dock to connect to a TV. The 6-inch display has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and also an expandable storage, a fingerprint scanner and an iris scanner. The HP Elite X3 is IP67 certified –dust resistant and can sustain under water for up to 30 minutes when inserted to a length of 1meter and also MIL-STD 810G certified- grade salt, fog, humidity, transport shock and thermal shock resistant
