Strata MetaWatch and Frame MetaWatch are digital smartwatches released in 2012 funded by raising money via the crowd funding platform Kickstarter.

Both the models support accepting or rejecting calls, SMS, emails, and calendar alerts. It display weather, replicate alarms and show routing information. In addition the Strata can play and pause music playback, which allows it to act like a remote control - useful if your handset is docked, you are swimming or if your headphones lack dedicated music controls.

The MetaWatch pairs with Android and Apple phones and enables and comes with six buttons that control features like customization, widgets, notifications and others. Equipped with Bluetooth 4.0, this device comes with battery life of 5-7 days.
