21 Newly Launched Smartphones in India


Bangalore: The Indian market has witnessed the launch of 21 smartphones in last month. The market has found major development in the sale of smartphone compared to feature phone. Key players such as HTC, Motorola, LG, and Samsung seem to stop the production of feature phones. Along with the global smartphone makers’ Indian mobile manufacturer like Micromax, Celkon and many other have started concentrating on smartphones than feature phone. Have a look at the smartphone which were launched in the month of June.

1. BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981

RIM launched a new phone called Blackberry Porsche globally which has been developed in association with Porsche Design. Blackberry Porsche P’9981 features a stainless steel frame, with a hand-wrapped back cover, crystal clear touch display with a sculpted QWERTY keypad.

When it comes to specifications, it is powered with 1.2 GHz processor with a liquid graphic technology. It also has HD video recording, a resolution of 24-bit high resolution graphics, advanced sensors and a built in support for NFC along with a whopping 8 GB on board memory and up to 40 GB of expandable memory with a microSD card.

2. Vertu Constellation Smile

Vertu launched this luxurious smartphone with a social cause. The company has joined hands with Smile Train, a NGO and will give funds to this NGO to bring back smile to those children who are suffering from Cleft Lip disease. This fund will be collected by selling the Vertu Constellation Smile smartphone. The device is actually Nokia C7 Symbian based smartphone which is designed with semi precious stone and metal shell. It comes with 3.5 inch nHD AMOLED display with Sapphire Crystal coating, 8 MP camera with dual-LED flash and for connectivity it comes with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity.
