MTS is offering a budget CDMA smartphone - Mtag 353 for 5,999. This new CDMA smartphone comes with a 3.5 inch capacitive touch screen which supports a resolution of 320 X 480 pixels. The phone functions on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and is powered by an 800 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

The handset comes with a 3 mega pixel rear camera, 2 GB internal memory along with a slot for a microSD card with expandable memory up to 32 GB and works on a 1500 mAh battery.

12. Spice Ascend Y100

Spice Mobiles has partnered with Huawei to launch a new budget Android smartphone - Ascend Y100 for 5,990.  The new handset is powered by an 800 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and functions on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

The Ascend Y100 sports a 2.8 inch TFT capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 320 X 240 pixels, a 3.2 mega pixel fixed focus camera rear camera and a 1050 mAh battery.
