Google acquired Boston Dynamics that creates robots inspired by animals to assist in military use. The company has developed Cheetah Robot, which is the fastest legged robot in the world. The Cheetah Robot can get to a speed of 29 miles per hour, crushing a 13.1 mile-per-hour speed record set by MIT in 1989.
