6. Porsche Design Blackberry

Well as we thought that RIM was out of the competition they bounced back and announced the launch of their latest Blackberry phone that came with the sleekest and most gorgeous design ever seen on a Blackberry handset. RIM partnered along with the Porsche Design team to come up with their latest smartphone.

This handset is priced at 1,38,990. RIM claims that this phone has been solely designed for the luxury smartphone category and they feel that this will be the handset that will pull them out of the slump that they are going through.

7. The original iPhone

The iPhone that every Apple fan would like to own is an iPhone 4S.  But that is the present. When we look at the hottest gadgets of all times it has to be the original iPhone that figures in the list. We could term it as the grand and magnificent ancestor of the current set of iPhones. Since it was launched in 2007 it became a role model on which all the future smartphones were designed on.

The first iPhone’s design was revolutionary for the time it was launched; it was thin, with aluminium back and a glass front. Without any doubt or debate the original iPhone will go in down in the books of history of the hottest gadgets.
