Surface from Microsoft has been touted as the potential iPad killer. But does it really have what it takes to kill iPad.  This has been a highly debated question. Apple loyalist feels that Apple has such a large share in the tablet market that even thinking of Surface making inroads to topple over iPad is impossible.

But Microsoft is not being hasty and has no plans of upsetting the market right away. They are looking more at the future.
