4. What Will It Be Christened As?
The new iPhone’s name is the most speculated and debated topic in the gadget world. Everyone has christened it with different names but, all the while Apple has kept mum about what it would call the new smartphone. They will only reveal the name on the day they launch the iPhone so we can continue speculating what Apple might call it.
The most popular name that is being speculated is the “iPhone 5”. On this doesn’t seem like on the account that technically this phone would be the sixth generation iPhone. So the next natural thought is that Apple might call it the iPhone 6 which doesn’t seem right because without a 5 we cannot have a 6 in the series. Or would Apple do the same thing that they did with the new iPad. They called it just “New iPad” and opted not to go with “iPad 3”. Would they do the same with the new phone? Would they just call it “New iPhone”?
