While most people would not care about the battery capacity but it is very important to inspect what kind of battery is our laptop containing and with how many cells. Typical batteries have a mAh rating of between 2000mAh and 6000mAh higher is better. Cells are the actual compartments where power is produced, and can range from four to 12, the more the better.

Another factor to consider is the warranty that comes along with battery. Mostly there is a warranty of 1 year on battery and warranty 3 years on laptop.
