The rumored launch date of the new iPhone, September 12, 2012, is just round the corner. It’s been a year since Apple launched their last iPhone and the Apple fans are eagerly awaiting the releases on the new smartphone. The anticipation levels for the new iPhone are so high that the sales of the iPhone 4S has dropped very low.

The biggest mystery regarding the phone is its name. Will it be called the iPhone 5 or just the new iPhone, like Apple named its third tablet?

The screen is rumored to be huge as it is competing with Samsung Galaxy S III which has a 4.8 Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen. The smartphone will come with a 12 mega pixel rear camera as well as secondary camera.  One thing that can be said with a fair amount of certainty is that the phone will function on iOS 6 operating system.
