#Don’t Keep App Activities
Most of the apps on Android still be active even after it is been closed, they rely on cache memory to launch in an instant. However, this reduces the launch time but gradually decreases the cache memory space when you run many apps and making other apps to take longer to launch.
Don’t keep activities option will make sure the app completely close when you exit the app. To enable, go to Developer Options and check in the box next to Don’t keep activities option. You can change the setting whenever you feel.
#Switch Dalvik to ART
You may wonder what are this Dalvik and ART. ART is the new runtime for Android to perform smooth and quick. However, Dalvik is the default runtime for Android and only devices above Kitkat can switch between Dalvik and ART.
ART is an experimental runtime so you cannot expect all the apps to run on it. If your Smartphone is less responsive or if it seems slow after switching to ART then switch back to Dalvik. Again go to Developer Options, then tap on Select runtime and choose ART, this will reboot the system it will be running ART.
