Apple New CEO, Tim Cook took the center stage at company's headquarters in California to launch the year's most-speculated Smartphone. Many people thought the new iPhone would have a bigger screen and a thinner design, but the device looks a heck of a lot like the iPhone 4. The iPhone 4S does offer many hardware and software improvements that make it a significant upgrade over the iPhone 4. Many people believed that the company would show off an iPhone with an all-new design. But it didn't do anything of the sort. In fact, the iPhone 4S features the same, basic design as its predecessor, including the glass panels and thin design. It would have been nice to see at least one major design improvement but Apple didn't have that in its plans. The iPhone 4S looks exactly like the iPhone 4 as far as the hardware and display is concerned. Aside from the 4S label on the back, you won't notice a difference. It has a 3.5-inch, 960-by-640-pixel Retina Display. On the plus side, the Retina Display is really great.
