#9 Xolo Q800

Processor: 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589

Price: Rs.10,442

Available at Rs.10,442, Xolo Q800 is probably the toughest contender in this list. Equipped with a MediaTek MT6589 1.2GHz quad core processor, the phone is powerful enough to tame whatever comes in its way. A PowerVR SGX544 GPU along with 1 GB of RAM supports the smooth operations.

Unlike its 5 inch counterparts, Q800 sports a 4.5 inch screen which is easy for single handed use. The IPS display has a resolution of 960x540 pixels. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean runs the dual SIM device and for camera lovers, there is an 8MP from camera and 1.2MP secondary one. The device is powered by a 2100 mAh battery.

With its Q, A and Intel atom powered X series of Smartphones, the Indian manufacturer is trying to get a portion of mid-range Smartphone market.

#8 Karbonn Titanium S2

Price: Rs. 9,754

Titanium S2, the Indian manufacturer Karbonn’s Smartphone houses a 5-inch screen with a FWVGA display and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean similar to other devices in Titanium range. The device, powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor is equipped with an 8MP auto-focus camera with LED flash and a 2MP camera on the front.

Powered by 2100mAh battery, the phablet has 1GB RAM and the internal storage of 2 GB that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD. Apart from connectivity features like 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, it also supports dual-SIM support with dual standby.

3: The Xolo Q800 started as a good model but they downgraded the processor to MT6589M a couple of months after its introduction. This has put off many potential buyers. Some of the other models in the list suffer from lower screen resolution.

You should have included the Gionee Elife E3 phone in this list. It has superior features and is avaialble for less than Rs.15,000 on some online portals and also in retail outlets.
