About the Company was started as a result of the founder’s personal experiences and inconveniences faced while trying to order food from restaurants at home. Most restaurants refused delivery and those who did could never keep up to timely delivery. The year was 2011 and the e-commerce boom had not yet taken off. Seeing opportunity, Naeem Khan, a marketing Communication professional decided to get into the B2C challenging environment of online Food ordering and delivery. As a guest food critic for Times of India, Naeem Khan had reviewed and written about over a hundred restaurants in Hyderabad for Times. His understanding of food as well as customer preferences coupled with experience in consumer behavior paved the way for Foodys to be born.
