Aloysio de Andrade Faria is a Brazilian banker. He is ranked at 255th position by Forbes. His net worth is estimated around $4.2 billion. A trained physician, Faria entered the financial business and succeeded his father, Clemente de Faria and changed it into one of the most successful Brazilian banks, the Banco Real, that was subsequently partly sold to the Netherlands-based ABN AMRO. At present it is one of the fifth largest banks in Brazil. Faria remained in the area, by using the money to establish another bank, the Banco Alfa, which is now one of the tenth largest and the most successful banks in the country. He is said to have 150 pure-bred horses.
