Philip Anschutz: Philip Anschutz is not only known as a successive entrepreneur but also an empire builder. He has made most of his fortunes by investing in railroads, oil and telecom. He owns L.A.'s Staples Center and London's O2, stakes in the L.A. Lakers and Kings, the new AXS ticketing service and a cable TV channel. He owns a stake in the StubHub Center, the stadium for MLS teams LA Galaxy and Chivas. For some time, while MLS was struggling, Anschutz owned six MLS franchises and experienced significant financial losses. He has also made his investments in entertainment companies, like the Los Angeles Galaxy, Chicago Fire, Houston Dynamo, San Jose Earthquakes, and the New Jersey Metro Stars. He runs all the operations by himself. Anschutz had also invested in family films such as The Chronicles of Narnia. He is said to have a side empire in Xanterra Parks & Resorts, which is the biggest operator of lodges and concessions in America's national parks, generating an estimated $375 million a year in revenues. His net worth is nearly $10 billion.
