4. Bank Account in the Host Country

Having a bank account in the host country, is one of the best options to have a secured financial backup. Try to commence an account opening application before you arrive in the country. Though mostly it will be processed only after you reach the country but initiating the process beforehand makes it easier as well as faster. You can also collect the information regarding the account opening process from the respective embassies itself.  It is suggested as without a local account you may have to face difficulties renting house or a telephone connection, get your pay cheques, etc.

5. Be Aware Of Your Tax Liabilities

Any citizen of any country has to pay tax to their respective governments, and moving abroad will only change the terms and condition, but not the rules. Different countries have diverse tax provisions, and it is very important for you to be aware of the rules, following which you need to pay your taxes. You can consult your employer or any tax consultant of the respected country. Discuss each and every option of your income and expenditure and know well your tax liabilities and redemption options.
