Mahindra World City Developers to Invest Rs 1,000 Crore in Tamil Nadu
Mahindra World City Developers (MWCDL) and the Tamil Nadu government have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for investments exceeding Rs 1,000 crore over the next five years. This initiative is anticipated to create employment opportunities for over 2,000 individuals. Concurrently, the launch of Origins by Mahindra - Phase II in Eliambedu village, Chennai, will serve as the foundation for this substantial investment.
Amit Kumar Sinha, MD & CEO, Mahindra Lifespace Developers, said, “As we expand our footprint with Origins by Mahindra phase – II, the integrated cities and industrial clusters (IC & IC) vertical of Mahindra Lifespaces continues to accelerate business efficiency and improve go-to-market with plug and play infrastructure".
Located along NH16 and forming part of the Golden Quadrilateral, Origins by Mahindra in Chennai is strategically positioned near the Chennai – Bangalore Industrial Corridor (CBIC) and Chennai – Vizag Industrial Corridor (CVIC) in proximity to Ponneri.
