L&T Finance Raises Rs 1,500 Crore via NCDs

L&T Finance announced on Tuesday that it has successfully raised Rs 1,500 crore by issuing senior, secured, rated, listed, redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) through a private placement. On May 27, the company issued 1,50,000 NCDs with a face value of Rs 1,00,000 each to selected investors.
These debentures offer an annual coupon rate of 7.2092 percent, with the first coupon payment set for June 29, 2025, followed by annual payments thereafter. It intended to be listed on the NTRP and NCDs will be traded on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) in the New Debt Market segment and will be redeemed at their face value at maturity.
L&T Finance reported, "We wish to inform you that the Company has allotted 1,50,000 Senior, Secured, Rated, Listed, Redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures having face value of
1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh only) each, aggregating to
15,00,00,00,000/- (Rupees One Thousand and Five Hundred Crores Only) through private placement basis, to the identified investors on May 27, 2025".
In spite of the fundraising progress, L&T Finance's shares ended the day down by 1.20 percent on the BSE at Rs 172.25, in comparison to the prior closing price of Rs 174.35.
