4. Late submission of ITR V
ITR V is Income Tax Return – Verification’, which is generated after e-filing for I-T return, but the filer is required to submit the signed copy of the same to the CPC Bangalore. The process of returning doesn’t start until it reaches CPC Bangalore.
5. Large Number of TDS Entries
If there is a huge number of TDS entries (some taxpayers can have up to 70-80 entries), your assessment may take a little longer. Apparently, the refund also gets delayed.
