How Warren Buffett Successfully Invests

10. “Do Not Do Investment to Make Money, Instead Invest Your Money With the Objective of Generating More and More Assets”

Buffett cautions investors to strictly stick to making more assets in the stock market. He says that people wishing to make only quick money in the market are not true investors. To Buffett, these people are “fools.” The very basic element of investing is staying in the market for a long time. Any investment made in a hurry will result in its downfall. He even says that sometimes it takes ages to reap the rewards and in the process, people might even lose the interest to make money. To Buffett, investments should lead to only “asset” generation and nothing else.
