Indian businesses should start venturing into the India-Pacific region and also take a bold step towards Look East policy. "We used the weak dollar to increase our competitiveness. It's now India's turn. It's a great chance to pursue growth opportunities in the Indo-Pacific region. Indian firms need to overcome the Big Country disease that also afflicted American industry. If Indian corporate restrict themselves to the domestic market because the Indian market is so big, it will be a folly. The Chinese market is bigger, yet its companies have stepped out to stamp their presence everywhere," said Bower, US foreign policy expert.
