Are You Financially Independent?

Lifestyle

Living life in a style! Sounds great isn’t it. You need to maintain as well as increase (gradually) your standard of living, but don’t tend to forget the fact that buying cloths and accessories from expensive brands is directly proportional to you income. So maintain the nominal lifestyle during the early stages of your career. This way will make you more financial dependent in later stages of your life, but if you end up spending a lot just to show off your friends and family, you will end up in the road of debt in your future.

Geography

Of course this geography is not about the subject you read in primary school, it’s about the location you have settled down or planning to settle. So which metro city will you choose? Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmadabad or Pune. These cities and their lifestyle attract thousands of people from all over India. But living in metro is not only about visiting shopping malls, multiplexes, water packs and discs. In fact it is much more than that, you will have to spend huge chunk of your money to afford an ordinary way of life. Even if you earn in lakhs, working in a metro city cannot save a sum out of it, then you would hardly have any money in hands when you retire.
