Ranbir Kapoor, the poster boy of Bollywood, has paid a tax amount of 7 crore this financial year. As per industry reports, he charges 10 crore per film and 1.5-2 crore as endorsement fees. Despite his young age, he gets numerous ads and endorsements. The rise of his tax amount is quite logical.

“A significant part of the leading film stars’ income comes from fees for promotions and endorsements. The fees are determined by the market value of the stars in the film industry,” says a Senior Income-Tax Official, as quoted by ET.
