Key Indian Equity Indices Trade Flat


MUMBAI: Key Indian equity market indices opened flat on Thursday after a higher opening in the Asian markets and a strong finish in the US.

The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) was trading at 14.77 points or 0.05 per cent higher during the early session.

The wider 51-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was however trading at 3.60 points or 0.04 per cent lower at 8,332.35 points.

The BSE Sensex, which opened at 2,7209.97 points, was trading at 2,7181.64 points (at 9.16 a.m.) in the early session, higher 14.77 points or 0.05 per cent from the previous day's close at 2,7166.87 points.

The Sensex touched a high of 2,7209.97 points and a low of 2,7169.81 points in the trade so far.
