2. Spread Your Holiday
As most of us belong to the salaried class, getting a week long holiday from office can be difficult. As convincing our HR department can be a bit tedious, it is up to us to solve our holiday problem. You can break up your holiday into parts, instead of going for 1 long vacation, spread it over 2 weeks. Instead of spending a week at some posh place, take a day off on Friday and go to some place just outside the city. This way you get the much needed break without the hassles of applying for a leave. This might not be what you want but it sure lets you breathe easy for some days.
